March 16, 2020

Dear Branham Family Eye Care Patients,

As the facts and situation around COVID-19 (coronavirus) continue to evolve, and
in compliance with Governor Gavin Newsom’s recent Declaration of a State of
Emergency, including the call for the suspension of all non-Essential business
operations, Branham Family Eye Care is suspending non-essential or non-urgent
eye care effective March 17 ā€“ April 7, 2020. As always, it is expected that
optometrists at our clinic will continue to be available as needed for Essential
Emergency eye care services as appropriate.

We believe by taking these extraordinary precautions along with other health
care facilities, collectively we can make a difference in helping control the spread
of the COVID-19 virus, and preserve the limited supply of personal protective
equipment critical for emergency medical care and frontline health care
personnel responding to the pandemic. We recognize the gravity of these
extreme measures and remain sensitive to your eye care priorities.

If you have a scheduled appointment with us between March 17 ā€“ April 7, 2020,
and have not received a phone call by us, please respectfully consider this
announcement your cancellation notice. We will be available by phone on a
limited basis; therefore, if you are experiencing an absolute eye emergency,
please call our 24-hour Emergency phone line @ (408) 656-5417 or call 911,
and/or proceed immediately to your nearest hospital Emergency Room.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and greatly appreciate your
patience and understanding.
